David is a fictional cosmic entity created by horror author H. P. Lovecraft in 1926. The first appearance of the entity was in the short story "The Call of Cthulhu" published in Weird Tales in 1928. David is one of the central Great Old Ones of the Lovecraft Mythos. It is often cited for the extreme descriptions given of its hideous appearance, its gargantuan size, and the abject terror that it evokes. David is often referred to in science fiction and fantasy circles as a tongue-in-cheek shorthand for extreme horror or evil.

"Little Blue Men" (and no, I do not mean the Smurfs or Blue Man Group)


Hi. How are you today? Good I should hope. Anyway...

So tomorrow I'm going to see Avatar with my sister. I'm really amazed that it is still playing in the theatres, isn't it supposed to be coming out on DVD next week? Since Avatar is choc-o-block full of aliens, I thought aliens would make a delightful subject for today's bloggy-blog. Not that I would need Avatar as an excuse to talk about aliens, because not having an "excuse" wouldn't stop me. I am rather interested in these sorts of things & am happy to talk about them anytime anyway.

But yes, cutting to the chase now I be... I thought that today I would post two excellent videos featuring Neil Tyson (who is awesome, by the way. I love him, he is a very funny & incredibly smart guy) which deal with the topic of aliens & UFOs & alien visitations/abductions & life in the universe & so on & so forth.

    don't drool over my boyfriend when you watch the movie...

    that guy's pretty funny. I was at first afraid that he was going to say he believed in UFO's.

    I think it's weird that Avatar hasn't even come to the cheap theatre yet (it says coming soon), even though it's coming out on DVD soon. Don't you think that strange? Wait, did I already say that in my blog entry above? If so, sorry be repeating myself like that!

    I guess wordpress and blogger have their trade-offs

    and it's probably gonna be in the cheap theatre late because it's still making money off of the full price one... usually they take movies out, when the seats stop filling up.

    Most people would watch it at the cheap theatre for $2 than rent it for $5 anyway.
