If I can make it there, I can make it anywhere!

Some day I would like to travel to New York City. On my ideal trip to NYC I would visit the following places. (Note: I concede that these will all be obvious, touristy places & rightly so!)

The Library Hotel:
This is where I would like to stay while in NYC. Ideally, I would like stay in a different room each night I was there, as each room is entirely unique & based on a different genre of literature. It's pretty freaking cool in an uber-geek chic kinda way.

Lombardi's Pizza:
The first pizzeria in New York! Because I love pizza too much for words.

American Museum of Natural History & Metropolitan Museum of Art:
Because of all the incredibly awesome & amazing things they have in their collections & exhibits. I would love to geek over it all. I could easily spend a week in each of the museums.

Central Park:
Its like a green oasis in a concrete wasteland... or something something...

Central Perk:
If only I could!

Bronx Zoo:
To see all the wonderful animals, of course.

Broadway:
I'd definitely go take in a musical. I believe its a production of "Wicked" in the picture below. I've heard it is an extremely good book, so I presume the theatre adaptation would be good as well. Who knows?

Wall Street:
Money, money, money, money, money!

Times Square:
Because it is the most obvious place in NYC to go. It kind of defines the city, doesn't it?

Empire State Building:
Why? Because its there & its ginormous. I expect the view would be spectacular.

Little Italy:
Food being the primary reason for this pick. I would fat it up there until my belly & heart both explode with joy & deliciousness! And just because it is so stereotypically New York City that you kinda have to go.

Chinatown:
Chinese food! Chickens & various other creatures hanging in windows! Neat characters on all the signs! Just would be an interesting place to wander, I imagine. Also, ditto to what I said earlier about being so stereotypically a famous part of New York that you kinda have to go.

Luna Park, Coney Island:
For the obvious reasons of the roller coasters & rides & attractions & games & all the rest of the usual fun fair/carnival/amusement park stuff.

Bannerman Island Castle:
Not actually in NYC, but it is in New York state, upriver a bit on the Hudson I believe. Why? Because it is an old castle, thats why! I love castles, isn't that reason enough?

Fini.
