Zombieland, where art thou?

Too bad, so sad...

I was intending to go to the Zombie Walk that was happening today, but I apparently didn't clue into the fact that it was happening during the hours that I work today. So I missed it. Oh well, maybe they'll do it again & some point & I can enjoy it then.

The library was having a booksale though & I did manage to snag a few nonfiction books that looked interesting to me: Hunting Dinosaurs by Louie Psihoyos, David Attenborough's The Living Planet, Dinosaur Hunters by David A. E. Spalding & The Hot-Blooded Dinosaurs by Adrian J. Desmond. The books are all decades old, so I do expect the dinosaur ones to be rather outdated & I expect that our Living Planet isn't nearly as alive as it was when Attenborough put that book out. Between pollution, climate change, overpopulation, wars, deforestation & environmental destruction, overfishing, erosion, reality TV & etc, it is probably more like "The Undead Planet."

Playing some PS3 on my new tv though, made up for missing the zombie thing though. So its all good!

While I was out today, I learned that Stars, The Black Keys, Eels, Broken Social Scene, The National & Filter all have new cds out. Man, how out of the loop am I?
